Paver Blocks




It is a most popular surface treatment for exteriors. These blocks are aesthetically pleasing, comfortable to walk on, extremely durable, and easy to maintain.

Types of Paver Block

Ø  Concrete Paving Block

This blocks are most suitable for heavy-duty applications. It provides supports to substantial loads. It resist shearing and braking forces.

These blocks have two surfaces. One is smooth and the other is rough and it is manufactured to standard size.

It comes in variety of colour and it is possible to fade away so choosing the colour is important. It is widely used in laying of pavements and driveways.

Ø  Clay Paving Blocks

It is available in typical rectangular brick-shaped. In this paving blocks any side can used and all are interchangeable. It comes in natural colour only hence colour fading is not there. This can be used I walls and pillars.

There are four generic shapes of paver blocks corresponding to the four types of blocks:

Ø  Type A: It has vertical plain faces and that do not interlock into each other in any pattern.

Ø  Type B: These paver blocks have alternate plain and curved faces. It can lock into each other in any pattern.

Ø  Type C: These paver blocks have all faces curved and lock into each other along with all vertical faces.

Ø  Type D: These are ‘L’ and ‘X’ shaped paver blocks which are lock into each other when paved in any pattern.

Advantages of Paver Block

Ø  Maintenance is less in paver blocks compared to concrete or asphalt surfaces. Simple water washing is enough for these blocks.
Ø  These are available in many shapes and colours. These can be used in residential or commercial.
Ø  It is slip and skid resistance.
Ø  It can be used in any weather condition.
Ø  It can be easily removed and replaced with other paved block easily.
Ø  Doesn’t need any special requirement to install.
